Digital Library of India

Hi All,

Let me take this opportunity introduce you to the new world of digital library. I am sure some of you may be aware of the mammoth task taken up by IISC, Bangalore and other participating centers in brining up a huge collection of digital books (1,24,234… still counting ) to the common benefit of all. For the first time in history, all the significant literary, artistic, and scientific works of mankind are digitally preserved and made freely available, in every corner of the world, for our education, study, and appreciation and that of all our future generations.

Just don’t be surprised, it has a collection of book that was written before India’s First War of Independence i.e 1857.
